HomeMy WebLinkAbout891ORDIAiAI~iCE iQO. 891 Ai~7 Qi2DI1JAtiCE OF TriE COUidTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ZONIivG A PORTION OF SAID COUNTY PURSUA\T TO ORDINANCE ~I05. 475, 522 and 676 OF SAID COUNTY The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali- fornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended by Ordinance Nas. 522 and 676, do ordain as follows: 8 9. 10: 11 12 13 14 15- 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 3T 32 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Butte, State of California, small be and it is hereby zoned as an "S-1" (Suburban-Residential) District and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County, west of the City of Gridley, California, and particularly described as follows: As shown by .map a-ttached= (AP 22-26) and •as shown in the Office of theeBUtterCounty Planning Comms`sian. and the Office -of -the Butte County Clerk'. SECTION 2. kZEGULATIOt3S FOR AN "S-1" DISTRICT. The following regulations shall apply in an "S-l" District: 2.1 USES PLR~ITTED: a. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or trailers. b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 2.2 Agricultural uses, except livestock=, subject to the following requirements: a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year of age, one (1} acre. b. For each head of swine over ten weeks of age, one (1) acre. c. For each :Head of sheep or goats, one (1) acre for the first head and one-half (~-).-acre for each head thereafter 2`3 LOT AREA: ~~inimum required area of a lot oer dwelling unit shall not be less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet. 2.4 LOT YiIDTtI: P4inimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five (65) feet. feet 2.5 FRONT YARt7: ?+linimum front yard shall be fifty (50)/from the centerline of the road, except where the road is classi-' fied by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, the minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty--five (55) feet from the centerline of said road. SECTIOiV 3. Tn compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Grdinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section' 5 thereof this Ordinance in full. SECTIOiQ 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning here- by imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning .Enabling Ordinance. Tn compliance with the provisions of the Zon- ing Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its, effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall be and it is Hereby declared to be in full..foree_and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage this Ordinance shall be published once with 'the names of the members of the Board voting for and against it in the Gridley Herald a newspaper published in the Counf.y of Butte, State of California.
