RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING
GRANT DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WEiEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit
"B", attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto,
is not necessary for the public or county use; and
WFIII2EA5, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto,
is necessary for the public and county use as highway right-of-way; and
WHIl2EAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section
960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of
the State of California,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte as follows:
1. ~t tt~Board hereby exchanges the real property described in Exhibit
"B", attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that
certain real property shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if set forth in full.
The Chairman is authorized to sign a quit Claim Deed in favor of Betty R.
Simpson, Trustee of the Simpron Family Trust covering the real property described in
Exhibit "B" and the Chairman is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from
Betty R. Simpson, Trustee of the Simpson Family Trust in favor of the County of Butte
covering that certain real property described in Exhibit "A".
PASSID AND ADOPTID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, this 1st day of August ,1989.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
All that real and certain property lying in the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 34, Township 19
North, Range 4 East, M.D.M., tying Northerly of the following
described line;
Commencing at the center 1/4 corner of said Section 34, as shown
on that certain Parcel Map recorded in the Butte County Recorders
office in Book 110 of Nlaps at Page 12; thence South 00° 01' S2"
East along the North/South centerline of said Section 34, 231.10
feet to the True Point of Beginning for the herein described
