RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY
SERVICE AREA NO. 124 - ALAMO EAST SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title III, Division II, Part 2,
Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the
County of Butte has petitioned the Local Agency Formation
Commission for formation of County Service Area No. 124; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Butte has approved the formation of County Service Area
No. 124.
NOW, THEREFORE, zT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that County Service
Area No. 124 is proposed to be established under the terms of the
aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County.
1.~ The boundary lines of the territories proposed for
inclusion in the county service area are described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County
Service Area 124 - Alamo East Subdivision. The type of extended
county services to be provided within said area are the maintenance
and operation of the street lighting and storm drainage facilities.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay
for the abovementioned services in County Service Area Na. 124.
The service charge will~be assessed in accordance with Government
Code No. 25210.77(1) and the Butte County Code, Section 21-85
through 21-90. Said service charge will not be assessed until
review and adoption of a report to be considered as a public
hearing scheduled for the 90/91 fiscal year.
4. On Tuesday, December_5,_I989 at 10:30 a.m. in
the Board of Supervisors' room, County Administrative Center, 25
County Center Drive, Oroville, California, a public hearing will
be held on the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 31st day of October, 1989 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors 1lercruse, Mcf.aughlin and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors McInturf and Dolan
NOT VOTING: None

Commencing at the intersection of East Avenue and Alamo Avenue;
_ THENCE along the centerline of Alamo Avenue, North 37°57'00" Test, a
distance of 255.12 feet;
THENCE leaving the centerline of Alamo Avenue, North 52°26'09" East, a
distance of 30.00 feet to the true Point of Beginning;
THENCE along aline parallel with and 30.00 feet east of the centerline of
Alamo Avenue, North 37°57'00" West, a distance of 406.27 feet;
THENCE North 52°27`45" East, a distance of 779.50 feet;
THENCE South 37°32'5I" East, a distance of 615.9$ feet to a paint on the
north line of East Avenue;
THENCE along the north line of East Avenue, South 52°21'44" West, a distance
of 647.14 feet;
7NENC£ leaving the north line of East Avenue, North 37°56'43" West, a
distance of 21fl.92 feet;
THENCE South 52°26'09" West, a distance of 128.04 feet to the True Point of
Beginning.
Containing 10.38 acres, mare or less.
