RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO
COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 23 (PLEASANT VALLEY) - CRAWFORD
WHEREAS, Robert Sohn & Margaret P. Crawford has petitioned the
Local Agency Formation Commission for inclusion of their parcel within
County Service Area No. 23; and
WHEREAS, The Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
has approved this annexation and designated it: 89-16 - Annexation to
County Service Area No. 23 - (Pleasant Valley) - Crawford, the exterior
boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof by this reference; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
has duly approved and authorized the Board of Supervisors to annex such
territory without notice and hearing by the Board and without an
election; and
WHEREAS, the territory is uninhabited; and
WHEREAS, the reason for this annexation is to provide drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory described
in Exhibit "A" described as 89-16 - Annexation to County Service Area No.
23 - (Pleasant Valley) - Crawford, is hereby annexed to and included
within the boundaries of County Service Area No. 23.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall be taxed to
pay any indebtedness or liability of Gounty Service Area No. 23 prior to
or existing at the time of annexation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on
this 31St day of October , 19$9, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Vercruse, McLaughlin and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors McInturf and Dolan
NOT VOTING: None

All that certain real property situate in the County of $utte, State of
California, described as follows:
A pertz.on of Lot 27 according to that certain map entitled "Map of the
Fifteenth Subdivision of the John Bidwell Rancho-, Near Chico, Butte County
California," which map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of the
County of Butte, State of California on January.25, 1908 in $ook b of
Maps at page 4$ and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 27;

of Beginning for the parcel herein described;
