RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO JUDGES PRO TEMPORE
OF THE
SOUTH BUTTE COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT
WHEREAS, duly licensed attorneys with at least five years
experience may, with the concurrence of the South Butte County
Municipal Court and the parties to the litigation, sit as Judges
Pro Tempore of the Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, Judges Pro Tempore volunteer their time to the
court, and bring their experience and expertise to the Municipal
Court; and
WHEREAS, Judges Pro Tempore provide a service and a
financial saving that is beneficial to the citizens of Butte County
and the Court; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES LEE RATHBUN, attorney at law, has
presided during 1989 as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Butte County
Municipal Court, South Butte County Judicial District (oroville).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOT,'V'ED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that they hereby express their sincere appreciation
to CHARLES LEE RATHBUN, attorney at law, for his service to the
people of the County of Butte, and that efforts which have
contributed to a better way of .life for the citizens of the
community are acknowledged and the appreciation of the community
is expressed through this official recognition.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of October, 1989, by the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
by the following vote:
