RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE INTERIM ASSISTANCE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, agreement to provide, through the County
Department of Social Welfare, Interim Assistance to individuals
whose benefits under Title XVI of the Social Security Act are
pending eligibility far Supplemental Security Tncome (SST)/State
Supplementary Payment (SSP) or during the months their SSI/SSP
benefits have been suspended or terminated, if the individuals are
subsequently found to be eligible for SST/SSP benefits for those
months. Reimbursement for assistance by this agreement is from
Social Security Administration (SSA).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors that it does hereby agree to provide Interim Assistance
Reimbursement (IAR) from July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1990 and
agreement shall automatically be renewed for successive periods of
one year thereafter (commencing on July 1 of each year) unless the
State or the IA Agency gives written notice not to renew at least
thirty days before the end of the current period per terms of
agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte on this 31st day of October, 1989 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Vercruse, McLaughlin and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors McInturf nd Dolan
NOT VOTING: None
