HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-189RESOLUTION APPOINTING HEARING OFFICER FOR HEARINGS PRIOR TO SALE OF PROPERTY SEIZED BY THE TAX COLLECTOR PURSIIANT TO CALIFORNIA REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE 3ECTION3 2951 THROUGH 29b3 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has previously adopted resolution number 77-120, and WHEREAS, Butte County Code, Section 21-95 provides that the Board of Supervisors shall, by resolution, appoint a person to conduct administrative hearings on petitions challenging the proposed sale of property seized by the Tax Collector pursuant to California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 2951 through 2963, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the position of hearing officer to conduct administrative hearings in accordance with Article 6, Chapter 21 of the Butte County Code is established and Nolan Hyde is hereby appointed to act in that capacity, and NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that resolution number 77-120 is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
