RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
OF A PLANNING/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ALLOCATION OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has reviewed
the Citizen Participation plan for compliance with federal statute and has
determined that this plan was followed for the development of this application;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte has reviewed and hereby approves application far:
Work Training Center Facility Study $20,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors hereby approve
the use of Work Training Center funds in the amount of $3,400.00 to be used
as the cash match for this groject.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors has reviewed
,,and hereby agrees to comply with all assurances executed in connection with the
application and, if awarded, the grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to execute the applica-
tion and statement of assurances, and the Director of Public Works is authorized
to sign the contract should the grant be awarded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
the 5th day of December 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Dolan, Vercruse,and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor P1cLaughlin
NOT VOTING: None
