HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-211~ ~ "5 ~•. ~ ~ ~ ,~ r. r;:k "' WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that for the efficient operation of the Public Health Department, the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a Revolving Fund; and WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29320, et seq. and more particularly 71267 provides for the establishment of such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California as follows: 1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of a revolving fund in the Public Health Department for the purpose of making change when carrying on the business of the department. 2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of one hundred fifty dollars ($150), and which will consist of seventy ($70} dollars previously authorized by minute order and a eighty dollar ($80) increase which is herein authorized. 3. That this fund is established in accordance with Sections 29320, et. seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer. 4. That the County administrator is instructed pursuant to Section 29323 of the Government Code of the State of California, to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond of the County to be conditioned, in addition to its others provisions, upon the faithful administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom such a fund has been established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time. -2- 5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the sum of eighty dollars ($80) in favor of the Public Health Department of the County of Butte from the County General Fund.
