HomeMy WebLinkAbout895OP,~INA~FCE NO. 895 ArN ORDINAt~TCE BONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY l OF BUTTL, STATE OF CALIFORilIA, PURSUAI~iT TO OR~INA.NCE NOS. 475, 522 and 67b OF SAIb COUi~TTY 2 3;: The Board o•L- Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali - ornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No, X75 of said County, being 4 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as azaended by Ordinance:- Nos. 522 and 676, does ordain as follows: !5: 6 SECTION 1, The hereinbelow described area situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and is hereby zoned as an ~. A-3 (Agricultural) district and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinaf~ex speci-- 8 fled and provided, said areas so zoned being located in the unin- corporated area of Butte County,-State of California, and p~rtic~-- 9. laxly described as follows; 10 As shown by map attached and as shown on Butte County 11' Secticnal 1vlap No. 3 in the Office of the Butte County Planning Commission and in the Office of the Butte l2 County Clerk, l3 SECTION 2. The following regulations shill apply in an "A-~3" ;)istrict: 14 2.1 Uses Permitted: 15: a. Single Family Dwellings. 16 b. General farming, horticulture, commercial livestock, peultry productions, warehouse and storage, 17 c. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the permitted uses, including agricultural processing plants. l8 d, T-hosing facilities (including trailers) to accommodate: only agricultural employees and their families employed by the owner 19 or operator of the premises; and provided further that such housing facility shall be considered accessory to the main building, but 20 skzall conform to the provision pertaining to required yard and open 21 space for dwellings. 22 2.2 The following uses subject to securing a Use Permit in each case: 23` a, Golf courses and country clubs, b, Public or quasi-public uses including churches, fire-~ 24 houses, hospitals and clinics, parks and playgrounds, schools, 25 public utility buildings and professional buildings. 26 2.3 Minimum l.ot Area Required: Five (5) acres; ~-;~^'t ,~, 2~ SECTION ~. T.his Ordinance- is for the purpose of orderly pro- . press and the OwneY of any property zoned hereby may at any time 2$ petition the Planning Commissien and the Board of Supervisors of the 29 County of Butte for rezoning; and the Planning Commission of the County of Butte shall on each fifth anniversary of the date of the 30 adoption of this Ordinance, of its own accord, review said Ordinance to determine whether or not any land zoned hereby should be rezoned 31, to permit orderly progress. 32 SECTION 4. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning En- abling Ordinance. In compliance with the provision of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effect- ive date became a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to :be in full force and effect from and after thirty (3Q) days after the date of its passage, and before.the expiration of fifteen x(15) days after its passage this Ordinance shall be published once 'tira~th._,tne~ names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting fox .and against it in the Chico Enterprise , a news- paper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
