Resolution No. 90-09
WHE'RFdS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined
that for the efficient operation of the Department of Social Welfare, Adult and
Family Services Division, Independent Living Skills Program, the necessity has
arisen for the establishment of a Revolving Fund; and
TiFlFRF.AG, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29320
et seq provide for the establishment of such funds.
NOW, ~II+ORE, BE TT RFSOLVSD by the Butte County Board of Supervisors,
State of California, as follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of
a revolving fund in the Department of Social Welfare, Adult and Family Service
Division, Independent Living Skills Program, for the purpose of meeting the
special needs of the children covered by the Independent Living Skills Program.
2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00). No individual purchase will exceed Ninety Nine
Dollars ($99.00).
3. That this fund is established in accordance with Sections 29320 et
seq of the Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies
of the resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County
Treasurer.
4. That the County .Administrator is instructed pursuant to Section
29323 of the Government Code of the State of California, to amend by endorsement
the blanket fidelity bond of the County to be conditioned, in addition to its
others provisions, upon the faithful administation of the revolving fund and
upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom such a fund has been
established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of
Supervisors at any time.
5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed
to draw a warrant in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) in favor of the
Department of Social Welfare, Adult and Family S~r~~ice Division, Independent
Living Skills Program, of the County of Butte from the County General Fund,
after adequate written procedures for the use and controls for the Revolving
Fund have been established and approved by the Auditor.
6. The County Welfare Director shall from time to time request__the
Board of Supervisors to replenish the fund, for authorized expenditures, from
the then current budget of the Department of Social Welfare, Adult and Family
Services Division, Independent Living Skills Program, in which such expenditures
have been budgeted.
