HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-046~.;,; ~, ~., :`~ ~' BOARD OF SUPERVISORS '~ ~ ~ ~~ ~'~~ COU~lTY_OF F3UT7`E, STATE OF: CALIFORNIA '~ ~ Resolution No. 90-46 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR ~ SUPERIOR AND MUNICIPAL COURTS ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE WHEREAS, Penal Code Section 1205 has been amended to allow for an administrative/clerical charge for processing of accounts receivable. WHEREAS, Penal Code Section 1205(d) has been amended to allow the establishment of a fee by the board of supervisors for the processing of accounts receivable for fines owed in criminal cases, both in superior and municipal courts, that are not to be paid in installments. The defendant shall pay to the clerk of the court or the collecting agency the fee established for the processing of the accounts. The fee shall equal the administrative and clerical costs, as determined by the board of supervisors, except that the fee shall not exceed thirty dollars ($30). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. In accordance with Section 1205 of the Penal Code and the actual administrative and clerical cost of processing accounts, the board of supervisors sets a fee of thirty ($30) for the processing of accounts receivable that are not to be paid in installments.
