concern for all people; and
WHEREAS, there is continuing need for ongoing awareness
and education about prevention of child abuse; and
WHEREAS, during the month of April 1990, the Butte County
Child Abuse Council will sponsor Child Abuse Prevention Month; and
WHEREAS, this is the sixth annual Child Abuse Prevention
Month for Butte County and our children will be better protected
through the continuing involvement of adults in their environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that April 1990 be declared Child Abuse Prevention
Month and that all residents of Butte County be urged to recognize
and participate in this special observance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Soard of
Supervisors on the 17th day of April, 1990 by the following vote:
