RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT
FOR COUNTY' OF BUT'I'E FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-1991
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9,
OF TTiE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT: CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides
that local governments must establish annual appropriations limits
pursuant to said Article, and;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code provides
that the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution,
establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly
scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County
appropriations limit for fiscal year 1990-91 to be $42,720,646
unless Proposition 111 is enacted into law, whereas the appropriations
limit is calculated to be $43,615,500.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the appropriations limit far
Butte County is established to be $42,720,646 for fiscal year 1990-91,
unless Proposition 111 is enacted into law, whereupon the limit is
established to be $43,615,500, and;
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination
thereof are in compliance with Article XIII-B of the California
Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, this 5th day of June, 1990.
