RESOLUTION REGULATING VEHICLE PARKING AT THE
BUTTE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION CENTER
WHEREAS, the Sutte County Administration Center has been
completed and the county offices relocated therein; and
WHEREAS, for the convenience of the general public it is
necessary that parking regulations be established so as to allow
convenient general public access to said building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That this Board has established and hereby
designates the parking lot across the street from the
administration building, easterly from County Center Drive, and the
parking spaces facing outwards from the administration building as
employees parking and all Butte County employees are directed to
primarily use said parking areas. Attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein as if set forth in full is a plat
reflecting the location of the employees parking lot and the
parking areas around the administration building that are for the
exclusive use of the visiting public.
2. Pursuant to the authority of Vehicle Code Section 22519,
those parking spaces facing in towards the building on the road
surrounding said administration building on three sides as shown
on Exhibit "A" are explicitly reserved for the sole use of the
general public, except for motor pool cars. It shall be unlawful
to park employee owned or county owned vehicles in said spaces,
except while loading or unloading. Further, in those spaces marked
for handicapped individuals, it shall be unlawful for anyone to
park in said spaces if they do not have on their vehicle the proper
identification for handicapped people. County employees violating
the provisions of this resolution shall be subject to discipline
by the county as well as subject to prosecution pursuant to the
provisions of the Vehicle Code.

3. The Director of Public Works is hereby instructed
to sign or label the visitor parking spaces.
4. The County Administrative Officer shall ensure that
every county employee is made aware of the provisions of this
resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 18th day of September 1990, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, McInturf and Vice Chairman Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Vercruse and Chairman McLaughlin
NOT VOTING: None
