A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A REVOLVING FUND
IN THE OFFICE OF THE
TAX COLLECTOR - CENTRAL COLLECTIONS
The Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector has described a need for the
establishment of a fund for the prepayment of filing fees for cer-
tain civil actions and for advancing the costs involved in levies
on Writs of Execution, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it is beneficial to
the County of Butte to advance such fees and costs so as to enforce
civil judgments for monies owing the County, and
WHEREAS,, such fees and costs are ordinarily recovered and re-
placed when the levy is completed,
NOW, THEREI'ORE,'BE° IT RESOL,VEDby the Board of Supervisors, that
a revolving fund of $'300.00 be established in the Office of the
Tax Collector, to be used in prepayment of required filing fees
where such fees are recoverable at the..successful completion of
civil actions and for use in advancing costs demanded by the
various sheriffs and marshals throughout California where such
costs are recoverable in the process of levy on a Writ of Execu-
tion or other civil process. The blanket bond maintained by the
County shall be amended by endorsement to provide coverage for
such revolving fund.
This RESOLUTION shall take effect immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, the 2~_day
of October 1990, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Mcinturf, Vercruse, Fulton and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
NOT VOTING: None
