WHEREAS, currently the authorized maximum amount
authorized to be collected for security and cleaning deposits for
persons or organizations renting the various memorial halls in the
County is $500; and
WHEREAS, the current inflation rate and the high cost of
repairs experienced in cleaning after certain rentals justifies a
higher deposit to cover the cast of repairs; and
WHEREAS, at least one Memorial Hall Committee believes
a higher security/cleaning deposit will deter damage from happening
at the buildings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that the security and cleaning deposits for memorial
hall rentals be authorized to be increased up to a maximum of
$1,000 as determined necessary by the individual Memorial Ha11
Committees and the Veteran's Service Officer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California this 23rd day of October,
1990 by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors P•JcInturf, Dolan and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES : PJone
ABSENT: Supervisors Uercruse and Fulton
