iOLUTION INCREASING THE MICROGRAPHICS/AUTOMATION
COMPONENT OF THE SOUTH BUTTE COUNTY MUNICIPAL
COURT'S CIVIL FILING FEE
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 26863 allows the Board
of Supervisors of any county to provide for an additional fee of
one dollar ($1) for filings in a civil action or proceeding, as
specified in Government Code Section 68090.7, to defray the cost
of automating the county clerk and municipal and justice court
recordkeeping systems and conversion of the county clerk and
municipal and justice court storage system to micrographics; and
WHEREAS, SB 1877 (Boatwright) was enacted by the State
Legislature and approved by the Governor, and becomes effective on
January 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, SB 1877 authorizes the Board of Supervisors to
increase this fee to three dollars ($3).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that the micrographics/automation component of the
South Butte County Municipal Court's civil filing be increased to
three dollars ($3,) effective January 1, 1991.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 1990 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Fulton and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Dolan and Vercruse
NOT VOTING: None
