BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
INCREASING THE MICROGRAPHICS~AUTOMATION COMPONENT
OF THE NORTH BUTTE COUNTY MUNICIPAL COURT'S
CIViL FILING FEE
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 26863 allows the Board
of Supervisors of any county to provide for an additional fee of
one ($1) for filings in a civil action or proceeding, as specified
in Government Code Section 68090.7, to defray the cost of
automating the county clerk and, municipal and justice court
recordkeeping systems and conversion of the county clerk and
municipal and justice court storage system to micrographics; and
WHEREAS, SB 1877 {Boatwright) was enacted by the State
Legislature and approved by the Gavernor, and becomes effective on
January 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, SB 1877 authorizes the board of supervisors to
increase this fee to $3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors that the. micrographics automation component of the
North Butte County Municipal Court's civil filing fee be increased
to $3 effective January 1, 1991.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ~gth day of December, 1990, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Uercruse, Fulton and Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
