HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-170r' ~' ~ BC~AR`D OF SUPERVISORS ~~~,~ _~ a - ~; ~ ~~~ 9 `; is COUNTY OF BUTTE, .STATE OF CA~IF4RNEA• •~. a ,. ~~ r. ~; ~~ Reso7ufion No. 9a-17o RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS FIXING THE BUTTE COUNTY CLERK/SUPERIOR COURT FILING FEES WHEREAS, Government Code §68090 provides that within the 90-day period preceding each odd-numbered year following 1981, the Board of Supervisors may fix the amounts to be charged as total filing fees in the courts within the county pursuant to 526820.4, §26826, and §26827 of the Government Code, and establish the components thereof, for the succeeding two-year period; and WHEREAS, Government Code §26820.8 authorizes a cost-of- living percentage increase of not more than six percent (6%) for civil and probate total filing fees in Superior Court; and WHEREAS, Government Code 568090 requires that such fees be fixed by Resolution and that a copy of such Resolution be promptly forwarded to the Judicial Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following fee schedule shall be and is hereby adopted for Butte County G1erk/Superior Court filings effective January 1, 1991. (a) Civil Complaint $131 (b) Family Law Complaint $160 (c) Civil Answers $100 (d) Family Law Answers $127 (e) Each additional defendant included in one document $ 56 (f) Summary Dissolution $136 (g) Lower Gourt Appeals $ 40 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the filing fee components shall be and are hereby adopted as follows, effective January 1, 1991. (a) Clerk's Fee (Complaints - Civil - Probate) $84 (b) Clerk's Fee (Dissolutions) $87 (c) Court Reporter Fee $18 (d) Conciliation Court (Family Law only) $22 (e) Law Library $20 (f) Judge's Retirement $ 3 (g) Micrographics Fund $ 3 (h) Family Law only ($2 Cierk/$2 State) $ 4 (i) Alternative Dispute Resolution $ 3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded forthwith to the Judicial Council.
