RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF
ALBERT J. IMHOFF, JR.
WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to ALBERT
J. IMHOFF, JR. for his 29 plus years as a law enforcement officer
with the Butte County Sheriff's Department.
WHEREAS, ALBERT J. IMHOFF, JR. joined the Butte County
Sheriff's Office on September 1, 1961 as deputy sheriff and was
appointed a sergeant in 1975.
WHEREAS, SERGEANT TMHOFF received the Silver Star Award
in 1983 for conduct above and beyond the call of a normal law
enforcement officer. This award was the result of an incident that
occurred while he was off duty and at risk to his own life, saved
the life of a woman who was trapped inside a burning garage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of
the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the
unselfish dedication and devotion given by SERGEANT ALBERT IMHOFF,
JR. during his career with the Butte County Sheriff's Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 18th day of December, 1990 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors hlcInturf, Vercruse, Fulton and Chairman P1cLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
