AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 899 OF THE
C~'TY OF BUTTE, KNOWN ,A;S THE ""SALARY ORDINANCE'A'
The Board of Supervisors of the Cbu.nty of Butte, State
of California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 899 of the County of Butte is
'hereby amended as follows:
(a) That Section 3-A, entitled'~:ALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED
EMPLOYEES°'7, is amended by adding to page four thereof as follows,
Class Title Number and Range
Home Health Aide 18 (283-370)
and deleting therefrom,
Hospital Social Worker I 26 (436-573)
Hospital Social 'Trlorker II 28 (486639)
(b) That Section No. 23, entitled HEALTH DEPARTMENT,
is hereby amended by adding thereto,
Salary Range Noo of Positions Classification Title
19 1 Clerk II
27 1 Public Health Nurse I
18 5 Home Health Aids
changing the total from thirty-nine-toc:;fo rty-six.
(c) That Section No. 44, entitled~AELFARE, is `:hereby
emended by adding thereto,

changing the total from one hundred eighteen to one hundred
twenty-one.
(d) That Section No, 24, entitled HOSPITAL, is hereby

2, That this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the members voting for and against the same, once, in
a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of Californian
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 11th day of October,
1966, by the following votes
,AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop and Cha~.rman Giles
NOES: None
ABBENT: Supervisor Pryde
