HomeMy WebLinkAbout9091 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 I 22 23 2~ 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ORDINANCE NO. 909 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ZONING A PflR7I0N OF SAID COUNTY PURSUANT TO EXISTING ORDINANCE NOS. 475, 522 and 676 OF SAID COUNTY The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali- fornia, DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and is hereby zoned as a "C-2" (General Commercial) District as hereinafter described and subject to all of the restricted uses applicable to the uses of a "C-2" District, said area so zoned being located in the unincorpor- ated area of Butte County, in the Community of Paradise, particular- ly described as follows: As shown by map attached and as shown by Butte County Sectional Map No. 6A in the Office of the Butte County Planning Commission and in the Office of the Butte County Clerk. SECTION 2. The following restrictions shall apply in a "C-2" (General Commercial) District: 2.1 Uses permitted: a. "C-2" (General Commercial) uses and retail enterprises. b. All uses permitted in "C-1" (Light Commercial) Districts. c. Multiple dwellings and dwelling groups, subject to the height limit building site area, average lot width and yard requirements specified for "R-3" (Medium-Density Residential) Districts. 2.2 The following uses subject to securing a use permit in each case: a. Bottling works, carpenter shops, contractors yards, lumber yards, plumbing shops and other uses of a similar character. b. Manufacturing of clothing, handicraft products, print- ing, lithographing and other light manufacturing or industrial uses of a similar character. 2.3 Accessory uses and buildings. ', 2.4 Building Height Limit Required: Forty-five (45) feet. 2.5 Minimum Lot Width Required: Twenty (20} feet. ', 2.6 Front Yard Required: None, except where frontage in a block is partially in an "R" District, in which case the front yard shall be one-half that required in such "R" District. 2.7 Side Yard Required: None, except where the side of a lot abuts upon the side of a lot in an "R" District, in which case the abutting side yard shall be not less than five (5) feet and except where the side yard on the street side of a corner lot abuts on an "R" District, in which case the side yard on the street side shall be one-half the front yard required in such "R" District. 2.8 Rear Yard Required: Twelve (12) feet; or five (5) feet adjacent to an alley. i 2 3 4 5 61 7 8 9 l0 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 2.9 Any use for which a use permit is required in an "A-2" District upon application for and granting of a use permit. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the District not specifically authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION 4. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby im-. posed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effect- ive date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage this Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members voting for and against it in the PARADISE POST a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
