ENFORCE!`7ENT ASSISTANCE GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, funds have been established by Public Resources Code
section 46504, and are available from the Soiid Waste Dispersal
Site Cleanup and Maintenance Account in the State of California
General Fund through the California Integrated Waste Management
Board for grants to Local Enforcement Agencies to support solid
waste landfill permit and inspection programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Bnard of Supervisors of
Butte County authorizes the submittal of an application to the
California Integrated Waste Management Berard for such an
Enforcement Assistance Grant in the amount of X14,000 or more.
The Director of Environmental Health of Butte County Health
Department, Butte County is hereby authorized and empowered to
execute in the name of Butte County all necessary applications,
contracts, agreements and amendments for the purposes of securing
grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified
in the application.
