RESOLUTIONDESIGNATING THE BUTTE COUNTYASSOCIATIONOF
GOVERNMENTS AS THE CONGESTION MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR
BUTTE COUNTYAND THE CITIES OF CHICO, OROVILLE, GRIDLEY,
BIGGS AND THE TOWN OF PARADISE
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65089 (a) requires that Butte
County Shall adopt a Congestion Management Plan (CMP); and
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65089 (a) directs each county
that is required to have a CMP to designate a single agency to develop and monitor that CMP;
and
WHEREAS, the members of a Technical Advisory Committee made up of
representatives of the planning and public works departments of the jurisdictions within Butte
County Air Pollution Control District have met and unanimously recommended that the Butte
County Association of Governments be named the Congestion Management Planning Agency
for Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors hereby agrees to designate the Butte County Association of Governments as the
Congestion Management Planning Agency for Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte Board of Supervisors on this ~(Lday
of Febru~r~91, by the following vote:
AYES:Supervisors McInturf, Campbell, McLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
