RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TYPE OF EY:TENDED
SERVICES (DETAILED STUDIES AND PLANS DEALING WITH WATER SERVICE,
SEWER SERVICE, SOIL CONSERVATION AND DRAINAGE CONTROL AND
ROAD MAINTENANCE) WITHIN COUNTY SERVICE AREA 114
(BUTTE COUNTY}
WHEREAS, Ccunty Service Area 114 was farmed by the Board of
Supervisors by Resolution 88-194 adapted December 20, 1988; and
WHEREAS, when originally established the type of extended
county service to be provided within said area was the financing
of feasibility and planning studies and the administrative costs
associated with implementation of the Nitrate Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement the Nitrate Action Plan there
is a need to obtain detailed studies and plans dealing with water
service, fewer service, sail canservation and drainage control, and
road maintenance; and
WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to initiate proceedings
regarding additional types of extended services, specifically
detailed studies and plans dealing with water service, sewer
service, soil canservation and drainage control, and road
maintenance for County Service Area 11~,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1) Tk~at said Board hereby states its intention tc provide
additional types of extended services within County Service Area
No. 114 as authorized by the Government Carle as follows: Water

services (25210.4x(1}}, sewer service (25210.4a(2}}, sail
onnservation and drainage control (25210.4x(10)), read maintenancc-
{25210.4a{15)}.
2) The area within which such extended services wauld be
provided is the existing area nt Cnunty Service Area nTO. 11z.
3} The Clerl: of the Bnard at Superviscrs is authorized and
directed to file a aertitied cagy of this resolution vaith the
Executive Officer of the Butte County Local Agency ~'ormaticn
Commissian.
