COUNTY RESOLUTION FOR JOINING
THE CALIFORNIA FAIR SERVICES AUTHORITY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman is
authorized and directed to sign the Third Amended and Restated
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement in order that the County will
become a party to and a member of the California Fair Services
Authority, on behalf of the County of Sutte.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that County agrees to be bound by
and adhere to all of the terms, conditions, rules and policies of
the California Fair Services Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Fair Services
Authority is authorized to settle and dispose of all claims or
liabilities brought against the County and/or Butte County Fair to
extent California Fair Services Authority provides Joint Protection
Programs to the County and/or Board, and to the extent such action
is consistent with the terms and conditions of the Joint Protection
Programs offered; by California Fair Services Authority.
PASSED. AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
supervisors by the following vote ; thi s 2nd day of Apri 1 , 1991:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Campbell, Fulton and Chair Dolan
