Resojutiori No. 91-5i
WHEREAS, resolution 86-140, passed and adopted on the
21st day of October, 1986, establishes the provisions for
reimbursement of mileage and expenses to various county board and
commission members;
WHEREAS, the reimbursement rate for use of privately
owned vehicles for county business changes from time to time based
on employee negotiations, cost of living indexes, and as allowed
by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS);
NOW, THEREFORE SE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte hereby amends resolution 86-140
as follows:
2. Travel and Expenses
e. Expenses for Mileage. Subject to the budget
appropriation approved by the Board of Supervisors, an appointed
board or commission member who has filed the necessary insurance
verification with the County Auditor shall be reimbursed for the
use of a privately-owned vehicle for county business at the IRS
rate.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 7th day of May ,1991 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Campbell, McLaughlin, Fulton and
Chair Dalan
NOES: Nane
ABSENT: None
