HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-052 '- ' °R ~ ~; i ~y '_ a . ~. ~ ,, . ~: ~: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ~° ~'~~ COUNTY ,QF BUTTE, STA~CE QF C,4L1FOF2NIA ,~i a ~~ ~ Resolufion N0.91-52 RESOLUTION REGARDING PARKING IN FARM LABOR HOUSING DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of Butte County desires the regulation of vehicular traffic in and upon the streets of its Farm Labor Housing Development, located at 850 E. Gridley Road in Gridley, California. WHEREAS, Vehicle Code section 21111 permits local authorities to adopt by resolution rules and regulations regulating vehicular traffic within the boundaries of any housing project owned and operated by a housing authority. WHEREAS, for the safety and convience of the residents of the housing development it is necessary to establish and control traffic within the Farm Labor Housing Development. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. That parking or standing of vehicles on the hereinafter described portions of said streets within the farm labor housing development, owned by the Housing Authority of the County of Butte, is prohibited. The said streets on which the parking and standing of vehicles is prohibited is described as follows; Along b a. b. c. d. e. f. g• h. oth sides of: Authority Drive, Booth Drive, Briarcliff Lane, Sussex Avenue, McConnell Avenue, Ogden Avenue, Staff Drive, and Ernest Avenue. 2. That NO PARKING signs be placed on both sides of the aboved mentioned streets. 3. That ONE WAY traffic be permitted on the hereinafter- described streets: a. Ogden Avenue for north bound traffic only, and b. McConnell Avenue for south bound traffic (see Exhibit 1) 4. That signs be placed at the entrance and exit of said streets indicating the direction of ONE WAX traffic. 5. That off street parking be permitted only in residence established parking spaces or designated parking areas as indicated on Exhibit 1. 6. That PARKING AREA signs be placed in locations indicating off street parking areas. 7. This Resolution is adopted in accordance with Section 21111 of the Vehicle Code. Violation of said Resolution constitutes an infraction in accordance with Section 14-102 of the Butte County Code.
