RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO
ABANDON A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (ALLEY ADJOINING
AP 043-230-009)
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from ten or more
free-holders, requesting the abandonment of a public right-of-way
as described below, and at least one of the petitioners is a
resident of the road district in which said right-of-way is
situated; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of
the California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section
8320, this Board shall set a date, hour, and place for a hearing
on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on July 2, 1991, at 10:00 a.m. , in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, 25 County Center
Drive, Oroville, California, a hearing shall be held to hear all
persons interested in the abandonment of that certain right-of-
way located in the unincorporated area of the County of Butte,
State of California, identified as an alley right-of-way

adjoining AP 043-230-009 and more particularly described as
follows:
See legal description on Exhibit A attached hereto.
A map showing the public right-of-way to be abandoned is on
file in the Office of the Butte County Department of Public
Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965.
2. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends
to abandon said public right-of-way.
3. That this abandonment proceeding is being conducted
pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California
Streets and Highway Code (commencing with Section 8320).
4. That this resolution be posted and published pursuant to
the provisions o Chapter 3 of Part 3 of ivision 9 of the
California Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 21st day of May, 1991, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, P•1cLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT : None

ALLEY ABANDONMENT
RIGHT OF WAY
AP 43-23-09
Being that certain 12-foot a11ey lying within Section 27, T22N,
R1E, M.D.B. & M, as shown on the map of Pioneer Black. recorded
in Baok 1, Maps of Record, at Page 56, County of Butte, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
Being that certain 12~-foot alley lying Southeasterly of and
contiguous to the Southeasterly lot line of Lot One of said
Pioneer Black, extending along the entire length of said
Southeasterly lot line of said Lot One, from the Northeasterly
right of way lane of State Highway 32 (Nord Avenue) to the
Southeasterly extension of the Southwesterly right of way line of
the 16-foot wide alley running along the Northeasterly side of
said Pioneer Black.
"Reserving, however, to Pacific Gas and Electric Company the
right from time to time to install, maintain, repair, operate,
replace, remove and renew lines, pipes, wires, poles and other
structures, equipment and fixtures, both above ground and
underground for the operation of said facilities in the
southwesterly lOwfeet- by 12-feet of the alley adjacent to Nord
Avenue (State Highway 32) as a public utility easement."
Said map showing the alley to be abandoned is on file in the
Office of Butte County Department of Public Works, #7 County
Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965.
