Resolution No. 91-76
RESOLIITION DEDICATING NEW FIRE ENGINE IN NEIiORY OF
SIIPERpZSOR KEpIN JAMES CAMFBELL
WHEREAS, Kevin James Campbell was born October 29, 1948
in San Francisco, California and died from natural causes on
May 17, 1991.
WHEREAS, throughout his life, Kevin Campbell worked very
hard to always helg anyone in need and committed his life to always
being there to assist a fellow man or woman in need, and
WHEREAS, Kevin Campbell was elected January 1, 1991, as
Supervisor of the Third District of Butte County and was a strong
supporter of the Butte County Fire Department and greatly helped
with acquisition of a new 1990 Ford Series 8000 Westates fire
engine, California license number E 349755 for the North Chico Fire
Station, and
WHEREAS, Kevin Campbell experienced a wildland crown fire
north of Cohasset during the August 1990 fire siege while reviewing
fire department operations and became a genuine fire fighting buff;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLpED, that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors, in respect of their recently deceased fellow Board
member as a strong supporter of the Butte County Fire Department,
dedicate the above mentioned, recently acquired, new fire engine
to Kevin James Campbell, and
FIIRTHER BE IT RESOLpED, that the plaque be displayed on
the fire engine recognizing the vehicle dedication to Kevin
Campbell.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 1991 by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors P1cInturf, PicLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
NOT VOTING: Supervisor Houx
ABSENT: None
