RESOLIITION AIITHORTZTNG CHAIR, BOARD OF SIIPERVISORS
TO SIGN MEMORANDIIM OF IINDERSTANDING WITS
STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR
FOSTER FAMILY LICENSING
WHEREAS, the State of California has proposed a
memorandum of understanding with the County of Butte, pursuant to
Section 1511 of the California Health and Safety Code,
establishing the County as the entity responsible for performing
foster family licensing functions for the State of California
within the geographical area of the County.
WHEREAS, the memorandum of understanding shall become
effective on July 1, 1991 and shall remain in effect until
terminated by either party.
NOW, TxEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte that the Chair of the Board of
Supervisors be authorized, on behalf of Butte County, to sign the
memorandum of understanding with respect to foster family homes
(FFHs) licensing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1991 by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Houx, Full;on and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
NOT VOTING: None
ABSENT: Supervisor h•9cLau~lin
