RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING
GRANT DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, heretofore declared its intention to
exchange that real property described in Exhibit "B°, attached
hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto: and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B"
attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or county use:
and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as
highway right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property
pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highway Code and
Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California,
NOW THERE;=ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte as fnllnws:
1. That the board hereby exchanges the real property
described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, and incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real property
shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if set forth in full.
The chair is authorized to sign a Quit claim deed in favor
of Kenneth B. O'Brien, Jr. and Marjorie O'Brien West, as co-
trustees for Marjorie W. O'Brien, and George V. West and Marjorie
O'Brien West, husband and wife as joint tenants, covering the
real property described in Exhibit "B" and the Chair is further
authorized to accept a Grant Deed from Kenneth B. O'Brien, Jr.
and Marjorie O'Brien West, as co-trustees for Marjorie W.
O'Brien, and George V. West and Marjorie O'Brien West, husband
and wife as joint tenants, in favor of the County of Butte
covering that certain real property described in Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 15th day of

DESCRIPTION
A portion of the East half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 4,
Township 19 North, Range 4 East, M.D.B. & M. being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 4 and running
North 0°29'55" West a distance of 1408.81 feet along the East line
of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4 to a point, which point
is the intersection of the South Right of Way line pf Long Bar Road
and the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4 and is
the True Point of Beginning for this description; thence leaving
the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4 and
running North 89°08'49" West along the South line of Long Bar Road
a distance of 215.82 feet to a point, which paint is the beginning
of a 75.67 foot radius curve concave to the Southeast; thence
Southwesterly along the arc of said 75.67 foot radius curve an arc
distance of 23.30 feet through a central angle of 17°38'28" to a
point of reverse curve, which point is the beginning of a 230.00
foot radius curve concave to the Northwest; thence Southwesterly
along the arc of said 230.00 foot radius curve an arc distance of
46.08 feet through a central angle of 11°28'42" to a point of
reverse curve, which point is the beginning of a 485.00 foot radius
curve concave to the Southeast; thence Southwesterly along the arc

East a distance of 152.45 feet to a point, which point is the
beginning of a 559.13 foot radius curve concave to the Southeast;
thence Northeasterly along the arc of said 559.13 foot radius curve
an arc distance of 221.06 feet through a central angle of 22°39'08"
to the end of curve; thence North 83°33'33" East a distance of
125.17 feet to a point, which point is the beginning of a 731.71

foot radius curve concave to the Southeast; thence Northeasterly

curve; thence South 89°08'49" East a distance of 214.40 feet to a
point, which point is the intersection of the North Right of Way
line of Long Bar Road and the East line of the Southeast Quarter of

Bar Road and running South 00°29'55" East a distance of 60.02 feet
along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4 to
the True Point of Beginning for this description, containing 1.94
acres more or less.
The Basis of Bearing for this survey is the East line of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 19 North, Range 4 East,
M.D.B & M., as shown on the map filed in Book 101 of Maps at page
52, Butte County Recorders as, North 00°29'55" West.

DESCRIPTION
Being a portion of the East half of the Southeast Quarter, Township
19 North, Range 4 East, Section 4, M.D.B. & M. being more
particularly described as follows:
A strip of land 50 feet wide being 25 feet on each side of the
Centerline of the White Rock Road as surveyed by the County Road
Engineer of Butte County, California and described as follows:
Beginning at a point designated as Engineer's Station 60 f 07.0 of
said White Rock Road Survey from which the quarter section Corner
between Sections 4 and 9 of Township 19 North, Range 4 East, M.D.9.
& M., bears South 49°25' West a distance of 1770.81 feet; thence
North 61°53' East a distance of 1.68.64 feet to a point; thence on
a curve to the right having a radius of of 600.00 feet and a
distance of 237.51 feet to a point; thence North 84°34' East a
distance of 71.47 feat to a point; thence on a curve to the left
having a radius of 750.00 feet and a distance of 274.02 feet to a
point; thence North 63°38' East a distance of 200.00 feet to a
point in the existing White Rock Road and containing an area of
0.43 acres which does not include that portion now owned by the
County of Butte:
Excepting therefrom that portion lying in Exhibit "A".
