to be in the best interest of this organization to support
the American corporate structure.
NOW, THEREFORE, B8 TT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
adopts a policy that all passenger-type motor vehicles purchased
for County officers and employees in the conduct of County business
shall be of American-only brand name. Exceptions to this policy
shall be made only by the Board of Supervisors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
provided by the Clerk of the Board to the General Services Director
and Purchasing Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of January 3.992 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors h~cInturf, Houx, McLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
