SOLUTION BY THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APPROVING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR AGREEMENT C88-101
FOR FUNDING FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM (REDIP)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Overall Economic Development, Inc.
is developing the H.J. Heinz Small Business Incubator for the
purpose of housing and assisting small businesses in the County of
Butte; and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1987 the County of Butte issued Use
Permit No. 86-20, allowing the operation of the incubator facility
subject to the installation of all urban improvements along
property frontage according to plans on file and meeting the
requirements of the Butte County Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 1989 the Board of Supervisors approved
Agreement No. C88--101 for grant funds in the amount of $80,000
covering off-site public improvements consisting of curbs, gutter
and street improvements, $64,000, and sewer connection costs,
$16,000 to the Butte County Overall Economic Development Inc.'s
Incubator Facility located at 1001 Willow Street in Chico.
WHEREAS, installation of the full urban improvements have been
completed; with the exception of sewer hook-up fees and annexation
fees; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located within the City of
Chico Sewer service area; and hook-up to the City sewer system
requires annexation into the City of Chico; and
WHEREAS, the project budget does not include a line item for
annexation fees, yet funds remain in the overall grant to cover
these cysts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors as
follows:
SECTION 1.
The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves a
budget amendment to add a line item for annexation fees in the
amount of $1,080.00 {One thousand eighty and no/100 dollars) and
reduces the sewer connection fees line item from $16,000.00 to
$14,920.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Board of Supervisors authorizes
County~s Chief Administrative Officer as the individual to sign any
and all documents associated with the budget amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California this 11th day of February, 1992 by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors McInturf, Houx, McLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
