capacity of a traffic officer far the State of California for more
than twenty five years.
WHEREAS, Daniel Gilmore during his service with the
California Highway Patrol has served as Labor Force Representative
for the California Association of Highway Patrolmen for three (3)
California Highway Patrol Squads.
WHEREAS, Officer Gilmore has been committed to community
interests whereby for more than twenty five years he has been
involved in youth activities, particularly in the sports fields.
He has also contributed to various charities through his long term
affiliation in the Masonic/Shriner organizations.
WHEREAS, Daniel Gilmore has been individually recognized
three times by the California Highway Patrol for his personal
efforts at reducing traffic accidents in Butte County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its
own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte
would like to express their deep appreciation for the unselfish
dedication and devotion given by Officer Daniel Raymond Gilmore
during his career with the California Highway Patrol.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 24th day of March, 1992 by the following vote:
