RESOLUTION rN APPRECIATION OF LAURETTA MUNSTER
WHEREAS, Lauretta May Munster joined the County of Butte
as a Stenographer Clerk II for Civil Disaster on October 25, 1962.
WHEREAS, Lauretta Munster on September 21, 1964
transferred to the Administrative Office as secretary to the Chief
Administrative Officer.
WHEREAS, Lauretta Munster, following many years of
performing her secretarial duties in a confidential and proficient
manner was promoted on March 3, 2979 to Executive Secretary to the
Chief Administrative Officer.
WHEREAS, in the past twenty-eight (28} years, Lauretta
Munster has been the only secretary to the six (6} chief
administrative officers.
WHEREAS, during those twenty-eight years, she has been
an indispensable liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the
County staff. During her career, twenty-seven supervisors held
office.
WHEREAS, Lauretta Munster is retiring May 1, 1992 after
almost thirty years serving the citizens of Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its
behalf and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte,
express sincere appreciation far the unselfish dedication and
devotion displayed by Lauretta Munster during her 29 plus years
with the County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1992 by the
fallowing vote:
