EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION PROGRAM:
IDEA EXPRESS
WHEREAS, Butte County continues to strive for more effective
and efficient provision of services to county residents in the face
of continuing fiscal challenges of major proportions, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors appreciates the
fact that no one is better qualified to suggest measures for cost
savings and improved efficiency than county employees deeply
familiar with day-to-day county operations, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Management Council has recommended
an employee suggestion program, "idea Express," to solicit
suggestions for cost savings and improved efficiency;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors supports the initiation of a program to solicit
employee suggestions that can be incorporated into the county's
1992-1993 budget process, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors shall
appoint a committee of the Board to assist representatives of the
Butte County Management Council in evaluating employee suggestions.

of Butte, State of California this 19th day of h+aY , 1992 by the
