STATE OF CALIFORNIA s. __ ~~°~..! ~ ,.ar,t .~ Resolufion No. 92-68 RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (PORTION OF a 20' ALLEY) WHEREAS, this matter came on regularly far hearing before the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on June 9 , 1992, in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California; and, WHEREAS, it appearing to said Board that notice of the time and place of the hearing on the petition for the abandonment of the right-of-way in question was duly and regularly given as required by law; and, WHEREAS, testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described public right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows: 1. That the public right-of-way situated in the County of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly described, is hereby abandoned pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320). 2. That said public right-of-way so abandoned is located in the unincorporated area of the County of Butte, State of California, is identified as AP 033-028-01, 02, 03, 04, and O5, is located in Block 16 of Western Pacific Addition Sub., on the west Q7-2fi112 ~... side of Perkins Street, between Gold Ave., and Lakeland, and is more particularly described as follows: Being that certain 20-foot alley lying within Section 4, T19N, R4E, M.D.B. & M., as shown on the map of Western Pacific Addition, recorded in Book 4, Maps of Record, at Page 16, County of Butte, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Said alley is bounded on the north by the south lot lane of lots 1 through 5 of Block l6 of said Western Pacific Addition, bounded on the south by Lots 6 through 10 of said Block 16, bounded on the east by the west right of way lane of that 60-foot right of way known as Perkins Street and bounded on the west by the east right of way lane of that 60-foot right of way known as Fig Street. 3. That a map showing the right-of-way hereby abandoned is on file in the Office of Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center .Drive, Oroville, California 95965. 4. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
