Chapter 2.2 of the Government Code of the State of California, the
County of Butte petitioned the Local Agency Formation Commission
for formation of County Service Area No. 139; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Butte on April 2, 1992 approved the formation of County
Service Area No. 139.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that County Service Area
No. 139 is proposed to be established under the terms of the
aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary line of the territories proposed for
inclusion in the county service area are described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. The county service area shall be called County
Service Area 139 - Stanley Park. The type of extended service to
be provided is water service, including acquisition, construction,
operation, replacement, maintenance, and repair of water supply and
distribution systems, including land, easements, rights-of-way, and
water rights.
3. At this time the Board does not intend to levy a
service charge to pay for the abovementioned services in County
Service Area No. 139.
4, On the 18th day of August, 1992 at 10:30 a.m., in
the Board of Supervisors' Room, County Administration Center, 25
County Center Drive, Oroville, California, a public hearing will be
held on the establishment of said area.
