AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATiflNS
Ff}R AN "A-3" (Agri cul'tu:ral j DISTRICT WITHIN A
PORTION OF THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF BUTTE COUNTY
~ The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali-
forma, does ordain as follows:'
3 SECTION 1. .NECESSITY. The Board of Supervisors finds that cer-
~ fain regulations are necessary for the preservation of the public
health, safety, convenience and general welfare, pending ttie con-
ducting of studies and surveys, and hereby adopts certain such
~° regulations as urgency measures of an interim nature as set forth
below.

SECTION 2. The hereinbelow described area situate in the County
7: of Butte, State of California, sha77 be and it is hereby zoned as
g an "A-3" (Agricultural] District and such area shall be subject to
the regulations and restricted uses hereinafter specified and pro-
vided, said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area
s'of Butte County, State of California, and particularly described

1~' SECTION 3. The following regulations shall apply in an "A-3"

~5 3.1 Uses Permitted:

e. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the permitted
19iuses, including agricultural processing plants.
20 d, Housing facilities {including trailers] to accommodate
'only agricultural employees and their families employed by the
2X owner or operator of the premises; and provided further that such
housing facility shall be considered accessory to the main build-
22 ing, but shall conform to the provision pertaining. to requi-:red yard
and open space for dwellings,

3.2 The following uses subject to securfng a use permit in
24 each case:
25 a. Golf courses and country clubs.
26' b. Public or quasi-public uses including churches, fire-
2'7 auses, hospitals and Clinics, parks and playgrounds, schools,
ubtic utility buildings and professional buildings,
28 3.3 Minimum Lot Area Required: Five (5j acres.
29 SECTION 4. The penalties for violations of the zoning .hereby
