RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REVOLVING FUND
SHERIFF-CORONER - SPECIAL TNVESTIGATIVS FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
has determined that for the efficient operation of the Sheriff's
Department, the necessity has arisen for the establishing of a
revolving fund,
WHEREAS, the Government Cade of the State of California,
Section 29430, et seq. provides for the establishment of such
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as
follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the
establishment of a revolving fund for the purpose of expenses
incurred for the following;
(a) Expenses incurred in criminal cases
arising in the county;
(bj Expenses necessarily incurred by the
Sheriff in the preservation of
peace;
(c) Expenses necessarily incurred by the
Sheriff in the suppression of crime.
2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the
sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).
3. That this fund is established in accordance with
Section 29430 et. seq. of the Government Code of the State of
California, and that certified copies of the resolution shall be
transmitted to the County Auditor and County Treasurer.
4. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby
authorized and directed to draw a warrant in the sum of five
thousand dollars ($5,000.00) in favor of the Sheriff-Coroner of the
County of Butte from the County General Fund.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of September, 1992, by
the Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Mclnturf, Houx, McLaughlin, Fulton and Chair Dolan
