COEJNTY OF BUTTE, :STATE OF CA~.IFORNIA Resolufion No. 9z-i2a RESOL<3TiON EXCHANGING PROPERTY AND ACCEPTTNG GRANT DEED AND AUTHORTZTNG CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore declared its intention to exchange that property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, for that certain property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto: and WHEREAS, that said property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or county use: and WHEREAS, that said property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as highway right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highway Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California, NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows: 1, That the board hereby exchanges the property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain property shown in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full. The chair is authorized to sign a Quit claim deed in favor of The Newhall Land and Farming Company covering the property described in Exhibit "B" and the Chair is further authorized to accept a Grant peed from The Newhall Land and Farming Company in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain property described in Exhibit "A".
