RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AND THE COIINTY OF BIITTE
WHEREAS, there exists an Agreement between the Department of
Water Resources of the State of California and the County of Butte,
known as Agreement No. B65032 dated July 21, 1992.
WHEREAS the Department of Water Resources of the State of
California and the County of Butte desire to Amend Agreement No.
B55032 as specified in proposed Amendment 1 attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
that they consent to the Amendment 1 to Agreement No. B65032 in the
form attached hereto as Exhibit A, and the Chairman is hereby
authorized to sign said Amendment 1 on behalf of the County of
Butte.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN
DEPARTMENT OF WATER RES0URCES
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AND
COUNTY OF BUTTE.
This Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. B65032 is made
pursuant to the provisions of the California Water Resources
Development Bond Act, and other applicable laws of the State of
California, between the Department of Water Resources,
hereinafter called "Department" and the County of Butte,
hereinafter called "BUTTE",
RECITALS
A. The Department and Butte entered into an agreement
whereby the Department agrees to pay Butte two percent (2.4%) of
the gross proceeds paid to the Transferor for water transferred,
sold, or leased out of the County of Butte.
B. The Department and Butte wish to amend their agreement
to increase the amount of water transferred in Exhibit ~. and to
increase the maximum payable to Butte,
AGREEMENT
The agreement entitled "Agreement Between the Department of
~~C, ~J
Water Resources of the State of California and County of Butte"
and identified as Agreement Number B-65032 is hereby amended as
follows:
1. Paragraph 3. "Maximum Payable" is increased from $49,500
to $55,000.
2. Increased the amount of water transferred by Western
Canal Water District, as shown in Exhibit 1, by 5,000 acre-feet -
from 45,000 to 50,000 acre-feet.
Except as amended above, all other terms and conditions of
Agreement No. B-65032 shall remain in effect.
