Home My WebLink About93-019RESOLiJTTON DECLARING TNTENTTON ~esalufion TO SELL PROPERTY AP 041-520-021 AND TO RETAIN BROKER FOR PURPOSES OF THE SALE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte deems it advisable to sell the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, which is located at 110 Condor Raad, Oroville, identified as AP 041-520-021; and WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 25527 and 25539 provide an alternate procedure for the sale of said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows: 1. It is the intention of the Board of Supervisors to sell the identified property at a minimum price of Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($24,000) cash. 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 25539 and 25527, the Soard of Supervisars retains the firm of McKenzie-Bramlage, Tnc. to market advertise, multiple list the property, show the property, and secure bid proposals on behalf of the County. The real estate broker's commission shall be eight percent (8~) of the sales price. Said commission shall be paid only cut of money received by the Board of Supervisars from the sale of the property. 3. Bids will be opened at a public meeting of the Butte County Board of Supervisors. The bid opening will occur an June 8, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. 4. Before accepting any written bid, the Board of Supervisors will call for oral bids in accordance with the provisions of Government Code Section 25531. Said oral bidding shall commence at least five percent (5~) higher than the highest written bid submitted meeting the terms of the sale. 5. The acceptance of any bid shall be subject to the approval of the Butte County Board of Supervisors by resolution.
