HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-022WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized
a need to modify office hours in certain departments to obtain
efficiency utilizing existing staff; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 (Ordinance 2241)
provides that the Board of Supervisors may adopt resolutions
specifying those office hours which a department will be open to
public business transactions; and
WHEREAS, the Veteran's Service Office in Chico has a need for
training, resolution of workload, and other logistical problems
that require office closure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors as follows:
1. The Veteran's Service Office will open to the public each
day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding lunch hours, and will be
open to the general public Monday through Friday.
2. Resolutions $2-116 and 84-179 heretofore adopted July 20,
1982 and November 13, 1984, respectively, are hereby rescinded in
their entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1993 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, Thomas and Chair Haux
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
