HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-046aRESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION KARL WAYNE JOHNSTON WHEREAS, Karl Wayne Johnston,, since July 17, 1967, has served the people of California as a state traffic afficer for the California Highway Patrol. WHEREAS, Karl Johnston served his country, for three years, as a member of the United States Army. WHEREAS, Karl Johnston has been recognized by the United States Congress for extraordinary performance in saving the life of a Butte County citizen critically injured in a traffic accident; WHEREAS, Karl Johnston has been recognized by the California Highway Patrol on three occasions for his exemplary traffic safety service to the motoring public; and WHEREAS, Karl Johnston was selected by the Exchange Clubs of Butte County as Officer of the Year, 1990. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte would like to express their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion given by KARL WAYNE JOHNSTON during his career with the California Highway Patrol.
