THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE ALL GRANT APPLICATIONS AND
CONTRACTS FOR THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Secretary of Transportationis authorized to make
grants for mass transportation projects;
WHEREAS, the contract for financial assistance will impose
certain obligations upon the applicant, including the provision
denoting the local share of project costs;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County o~
Butte, State of California, that the Butte County Director of Public
Works is hereby authorized to sign and file applications for Federal
Transit Administration (FTA) funds an,d execute all contracts and
other documents pertinent to the Federal Transit Administration
(FTA) grant program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this llth day of May
1993, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, DoJ.an, Mchaughlin, Thomas and Chair Houx
