the Butte County Mosquito Abatement District on April 14th, 1993
passed a resolution to change the name of the district to "Butte
County Mosquito and Vector Control District" to better publicize
the broader purposes and goals of the district.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
concur in this name change pursuant to California Health and Safety
Code Section 2226.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County
Board of Supervisors approve the name change to "Butte County
Mosquito and Vector Control District".
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of May, 1993 by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, Thomas and Ghair Houx
NOES : None
ABSENT: None

BUTTE COIINTY MOS UITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
