SEPTEMBER 19 - 25, 1993
WHEREAS, Work Training Center is observing and
celebrating national Rehabilitation Week during the third week in
September, and
WHEREAS, Butte County recognizes and values the
education, social, and humanitarian contribution of its many
citizens with disabilities, and
WHEREAS, those citizens have found hope and spirit and
dignity through rehabilitative services, and
WHEREAS, Butte County is proud and honored to have Work
Training Center's quality and progressive rehabilitative facilities
located in Butte County, now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors proclaims September 19 through 25 to be Rehabilitation
Week, and encourages all citizens to renew their commitment to
people with disabilities and to the efforts of rehabilitative
services improving the quality of life for them.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors this 24th day of August, 1993 by the following vote:
